I am the mother of a child born with hypospadias, a condition I had never heard of until his birth. The years since held a lot of worry and a lot of learning. I built this site so other families would not have to start from nothing the way we did.
Hypospadias is common, affecting roughly 1 in 150 to 300 boys, yet it is rarely talked about, which can leave parents feeling alone and helpless. This is a small, honest place to understand the condition, read real pre- and post-surgery experience, and find people who have been here before.
